Who is Natural Choices and what do we do?

Since 1995 Natural Choices has manufactured oxygen bleach products for consumer, janitorial and industrial use. Natural Choices is based in Franklin, WI. and is owned and operated by Marion and Catherine Myers. Natural Choices uses natural and/or naturally derived ingredients whenever possible in all of our products. Our Number One goal is to help our customers solve their cleaning problems with the safest, most natural and non-toxic products we can provide. We are here to serve you; we don't just sell products!

Besides oxygen bleach based products we also manufacture soy, citrus, vegetable oil based and other naturally derived cleaning products. We provide a complete line of services which include private labeling, manufacturing, testing and custom formulating. Our products are marketed through internet, retail and distributor outlets.

What is oxygen bleach?

The oxygen bleach Natural Choices uses is sodium percarbonate which is made by treating natural soda ash with oxygen. In this process the soda ash picks up oxygen and releases it when added to warm or hot water. The released oxygen is what does the cleaning, stain removal and sanitizing.

Why use oxygen bleach to clean and sanitize?

People have been using chlorine bleaches since the end of the 18th century. While these products work very well in whitening, stain removal and sanitizing, chlorine bleaches do have a negative effect upon the environment because of their chemistry. Care must be taken in using chlorine bleach as it is toxic to humans, animals, and plants. Also, we all have experienced destroying a colored article of clothing because chlorine bleach was accidentally spilled on it.

Oxygen bleach is a safe and effective alternative to chlorine or other harmful petroleum based products and it can be used in many applications in and around the home. Oxygen bleach is safe to use at all temperatures, on most washable fabrics, and all colors, in hard or soft water, and is compatible with other household cleaners. Also, it produces no harmful by-products which negatively affect the environment. Unlike chlorine bleach, which can merely cover up a stain, oxygen bleach attacks and breaks down organic stains to totally remove them.

What can oxygen bleach based products clean?
